ORDER FULFILLMENT
In-stock items are shipped out ASAP, typically within 12 - 48 hours of your order being placed.
The only exception to this timeline would be orders containing a custom, made-to-order size or style, which will be noted on the product listing. Orders containing a custom item are typically fulfilled in less than 2 weeks & are shipped out to you promptly thereafter.
Please also take note of your chosen shipping carrier's estimated timeline & feel free to reach out to us in advance (or leave a note on your order), if you happen to have a delivery deadline. We'll do our best to ensure your package arrives in time! :)
*Please ensure you enter the correct delivery address. BLUE ADAPTATION is not responsible for refunding or replacing packages sent to erroneous or outdated addresses, as entered by the customer.
DOMESTIC SHIPPING (USA)
Domestic (USA):
- Delivery estimates and shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout. Customers may choose between USPS (Ground Advantage or Priority) or UPS (Ground, 2nd Day Air®, or Next Day Air Saver).
- All shipments are trackable, with estimated delivery typically ranging from 3–7 business days after dispatch. All orders ship from Indiana (with the exception of made-to-order items).
- Need your order quickly? Based on our experience, we recommend selecting a UPS option over USPS for faster and more reliable delivery.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
International (Worldwide, outside of USA):
• Estimated delivery timelines & automatically-discounted shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Customers have the option of choosing between UPS (Worldwide Expedited or Saver), or DHL (Express Worldwide).
• Shipment delivery will vary depending on the destination & selected mail carrier service, but you can typically expect your package to arrive within 7 - 14 business days, plus any additional time for customs processing if applicable.
• Please note international shipments may be subject to import taxes, customs duties/tariffs, separate international mail handling fees, & other additional fees levied by the destination country, due upon arrival of your package.
BLUE ADAPTATION has no control over these fees, nor are they included in the original purchase price or shipping charges that the customer pays upon checkout from our store.
The recipient is responsible to pay separately for any such determined governmental charges upon delivery of their package. Duties and taxes are imposed by your government to protect national revenue and safeguard local industry. Almost all shipments crossing international borders are subject to duty and tax assessment.
RETURN POLICY + PROCESS
We want you to love your purchase!
If you're not completely satisfied, we gladly accept domestic returns or exchanges on all unworn items within 30 days of the original purchase date.
To start a return or exchange within this 30-day window, please reach out via our contact form ( Contact Us ) or email us directly at hello@blueadaptation.com. Be sure to include your name and/or order number and let us know how you'd like to proceed (return or exchange).
Domestic Returns & Refunds (USA)
Once we hear from you, we’ll provide a prepaid USPS return shipping label along with simple instructions.
After your return is received, inspected, and approved, we’ll email you a confirmation, and your refund will be issued to your original form of payment (less the cost of the original shipping amount & pre-paid return label - both automatically discounted).
Please note shipping carrier charges cannot be refunded & these fees will automatically be deducted from your total refund amount.
We do however offer free exchanges & will cover the cost of the associated additional shipping charges, granted the sale remains in place.
Refunds may take up to 14 business days to appear on your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
International Returns & Refunds (outside the USA)
Due to the high costs of international shipping and the recent elimination of the de minimis tax exemption for items reentering the U.S. (effective August 29, 2025), we are no longer able to accept returns or exchanges on international orders. All international sales are considered final.

Returns for Refund (USA)
If you choose to return items for a refund, the cost of the provided pre-paid USPS return label will be deducted from your refund as follows:
- Packages under 1 lb (typically 1 item): $6.99
- Packages over 1 lb (typically 2 or more items): $8.99
Please note: These figures are general estimates; actual shipping label rates will apply.
If an order originally qualified for free shipping at checkout but falls below the free shipping threshold after a return, the initial shipping label cost will also be deducted from your refund. Please refer to the above figures for a general estimate of label costs.
For returns of 3 or more items, a 1% restocking fee per item will be applied.
We will continue to cover all backend payment processing fees, regardless of your order status.
Exchanges ship free, as long as the original sale remains in place.
SIZING
Each product listing has Fit notes specific to the individual style, along with a Size Guide you can peruse. If upon review, you're still wondering which size to order, we would recommend sizing up if you prefer a more relaxed fit, or sizing down if you fancy a more form-fitted feel. When in doubt, feel free to Contact Us directly, we're very familiar with these styles & would be more than happy to assist further!
GIFT CARDS
We offer electronic Gift Cards in various amounts with no expiration date. Please visit our Gift Card page to purchase directly.
OTHER
We are a slow fashion brand that strives to be ecologically responsible. We produce small, targeted runs in order to eliminate wastefulness while still meeting consumer demand.
Don't see a particular style / size / color in stock that you would like to purchase? Please email us directly to let us know what you would like & we'll see what we can do. If we can’t arrange something right away, we'll add you to our Waitlist & you'll be the first to know once it becomes available again.
Notice a product listing that states (+2 weeks)?
This means that you have chosen a style/size that is not currently in-stock, but is available as a custom, made-to-order item.
Orders containing a custom item are typically fulfilled in less than 2 weeks & are shipped out to you promptly thereafter.
Please take note of this additional processing time & plan ahead if a custom order is needed by a certain date.

Suggested Care Instructions:
SWIMWEAR
To prolong the life of your swim/activewear, it's recommended that you please:
- Hand Wash Cold Inside Out / Air Dry
- Always thoroughly rinse after chlorinated pool use
- Avoid contact with rough surfaces to avoid fabric snags
JEWELRY
To prolong the life of your jewelry, please:
- Refrain from exposing plated jewelry to chemicals, oils, perfumes, & makeup. Ideally put your earrings on last to avoid any such chemical contact.
- Avoid exercising, bathing, & swimming while wearing your jewelry. Both chlorine & saltwater can be damaging.
- To clean, gently rinse with freshwater (if needed) & dry with a soft polishing cloth.
- Store for safe keeping in a cool, dry place. (Glazed enamel can soften if exposed to heat; do not place anything directly atop your pieces to avoid possible indentation).
All of our products comply with relevant safety regulations, inclusive of the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) put forth in the EU / EEA (European Economic Area).
